“Peloponnessos” Protected Geographical Indication
White Dry Wine
Variety: Sauvignon Blanc 100%
Vineyard: “Dastesa”, at the slopes of the valley of Klimenti at 820 m. altitude with a west orientation. The harvest takes time in mid-September. The soil is calcareous-clay.
Vinification: Traditional white wine vinification. The grapes are pressed at low temperature for a few hours and clarified by static sedimentation. The fermentation takes place at an increasing temperature of 17-22 οC in temperature controlled stainless steel vats.
The colour is light lemon yellow, with greenish tinges. The nose is rich and aromatic: white flowers and melon notes. The palate is characterised with lemon and bergamot; it has a long aftertaste. It goes well with grilled fish and oysters but also with pasta and a light dressing.
