“Peloponnessos” Protected Geographical Indication

Variety: Agiorgitiko 100%

It is one of the most ancient and noble red grape varieties of Greece. It is grown mainly in the AOQS region Nemea in the Peloponnese.

Vineyard: “Agia Paraskeui” and “Wouvesse” at Klimenti Village at 800 m altitude; the vineyards are located on the border of the mountainous area of AOQS Nemea.

Vinification: Traditional red wine vinification. We leave the grapes macerate for a period of 15 days at a low temperature before setting off the fermentation. Then the fermentation takes place. After that, the wine is being aged for 14 months in French oak casks.

The colour is ruby. The nose has light aromas of red fruits such as cherry and red forest fruits and is combined with discreet spicy notes. The palate is described from earthy notes and mature red fruits; it has soft tannins; structured and long.
